Heavier Things burst on to the Chicago music scene in March, 2006. Fueled by the music and inspiration of John Mayer, lead singer and guitarist Geoff Siebold formed a trio of musicians that bridge the gap between Mayer's signature pop songs, and the gritty soul of his blues trio. 

The results are nothing short of amazing. Heavier Things is a tribute to Mayer and his music, as well as a  showcase for Siebold's original material. He is joined by two extremely talented musicians, Bobby Simons (bass guitar/backing vocals), and Greg Rapp (drums).
